Benjamin Patt commits to Minnesota Duluth

Congratulations to Hound Benjamin Patt on committing to play for Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs in the NCAA Division 1!

Benjamin on his commitment and time at Notre Dame:

“The chance to play at Notre Dame is one that cannot be overlooked. The amazing support and guidance I received from the Notre Dame staff, especially Head Coach Clint Mylymok, was second to none.  The emphasis on putting student athletes in the best possible position to achieve their athletic and academic aspirations is very evident. Playing with Notre Dame and in the SJHL has given me the chance to grow as a hockey player and as a person. The facilities at Notre Dame provide the opportunity to skate and work out every day so you can be at your peak performance level. I look forward to my development as a scholar and athlete, as I continue my hockey career with the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs (NCHC).”

Head Coach Clint Mylymok on Benjamin’s commitment:

“We are more than excited for the opportunity Ben has created for himself.  The one thing that really stands out that all young players can learn from, is his competitive drive and respect for the game.  His determination in net is something that caught the attention of more than a few schools. Not only is Ben a talented goaltender, but he is even a better person. His teammates and coaches are all happy to see Ben get this opportunity at such a strong program at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.”
