The Notre Dame Hounds have acquired defenceman Ethan Andrews and a Player Development Fee from the La Ronge Ice Wolves, in exchange for the 1st overall pick in the 2009-portion of the 2024 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League draft.
Andrews, 19, hails from Kimberley, B.C., and split 41 games last season between the Flin Flon Bombers and Ice Wolves.
He attended Pacific Coast Academy of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League in Victoria, BC before signing with the Bombers last off-season.
The 2005-born, left-shot blue liner posted 10 points in his rookie campaign a year ago.
