Hounds acquire Hueging from Freeze

The Notre Dame Hounds have acquired Ryland Hueging from the Winnipeg Freeze of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League in exchange for a Player Development Fee, the club announced Wednesday.

Hueging, 19, is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound forward from Winnipeg, MB, and played in 55 games over the last two years for the MJHL club.

A natural winger, he has 12 goals and 28 points over his Junior A career to date.

The Freeze originally signed him ahead of the Covid-shortened 2020-2021 campaign out of his hometown Winnipeg Wild U18AAAs.
