Hounds Add Cardiff

The Notre Dame Hounds are happy to announce the addition of Jacob Cardiff to the team. Jacob spent many years in Wilcox as a student and resident, before he took off on his journey to the WHL and the Spokane Chiefs. Jacob spent the 2013-14; 2014-15; and 2015-16 season with the Chiefs, and has 166 games of WHL experience, including playoffs.

“Part of the process this year was adding quality leadership to our locker room, and Jacob is another important piece for us in that area. He can play Forward or Defense, and will be a very versatile player for us this season”, Head Coach/GM Clint Mylymok said. “ It’s a homecoming of sorts for Jacob as well, as he lived in Wilcox for a few years and has family in Regina. We are more than pleased with his addition and it’s always nice to see a Saskatchewan kid want to return home to play in the SJHL”.

The Hounds take on the Melville Millionaires tonight at 7:30pm at the Duncan McNeill Arena and come right back Saturday night, hosting the Melfort Mustangs at 7:30pm.
