The Notre Dame Hounds Junior A are thrilled to announce that Istvàn Orgovàny has been hired as our new assistant coach.
Orgovàny hails from Szèkesfehèrvàr, Hungary, and after years of mentoring hockey coaches in his native land, has moved to Canada to put all his experience into practice.
“Istvan is highly regarded in his home country,” said Brett Pilkington, Notre Dame’s head coach and general manager.
“Similar to our players, we here at ND are developing coaches, and Istvan is here to learn about the North American game. Since he has arrived, he has been all in and a great addition to our staff.”
