REGINA, SK – Notre Dame Hounds forwards Marko Djordjevic and Neka Jean have been selected for the 2025 SJHL/MJHL Showcase set for Winnipeg, MB, Jan. 27-29, 2025.
The annual Showcase welcomes 60 elite players from each league, and three teams from each league will be formed to compete against each other during the event. One team will consist of players 18 and under, while the other will consist of players 20 and under.

Djordjevic, 20, hails from Leduc, AB, and has posted 62 points in 102 games for the Jr Hounds between 2022 and 2025. He currently sits 10th in SJHL, scoring 17 goals and 35 points in 34 contests over the 2024-25 campaign thus far. Marko also leads the SJHL in face-offs taken and won.
Djordjevic was signed by the Hounds early in the 2022-2023 campaign after a stint with the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. He played the vast majority of his minor hockey in the Leduc minor hockey system, just outside of Edmonton, AB.
Jean, 18, is from Moncton, NB. He is tied for sixth in SJHL rookie scoring with seven goals and 15 assists to date. Neka joined the Hounds from the Moncton Flyers U18 last off-season.
Neka also spent time at Shattuck St. Mary’s Prep School in Minnesota and played one game as an affiliate call-up for the Grand Falls Rapids of the Maritime Hockey League last season.
