Notre Dame Hounds’ Dane Probe has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Wentworth Institute of Technology for the 2023-2024 campaign.
Probe, 19, appeared in 109 games for the Junior A Hounds between 2021 and 2023, and posted 23 goals and 60 points over that span.
The 2021-2022 SJHL season was a breakout one for him, as he tallied 18 goals and 45 points while playing a critical Top 6 role.
A Calgary native, the 2003-born forward joined ND out of his hometown Royals U18AAAs, where he was the assistant captain in the 2020-21 season.
Located in Boston, MA, Wentworth competes in the Commonwealth Coast Conference, and featured Hound Nik Sombrowski in ’21-22.
