Hounds’ Saint-Onge commits to SUNY-Fredonia

Notre Dame Hounds’ Antoine Saint-Onge has committed to the State University of New York at Fredonia for the 2023-2024 NCAA Division III campaign.

Saint-Onge, 20, was acquired by ND on 18 November, 2021 from the Estevan Bruins, and posted 72 points over his 118 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League contests between the two clubs.

A forward from Shawinigan, QC, he finished third in Hounds scoring on the 2022-23 season with 14 goals and 41 points in 54 games, including a stretch to end his junior career in which he posted 13 points in five games.

SUNY Fredonia plays in the State University of New York Athletic Conference and is located right on Lake Erie, just south of Buffalo, NY. The men’s hockey club also featured Hounds Kurri Woodford and Logan Dyck this past season.
