1997 G Jacob Standen (Nanton AB) stopped 47 of 48 shots in two games played last week, which included a 17-save shutout against La Ronge on Friday. Perhaps a greater feat was blocking 30-of-31 against the league leading Battlefords North Stars on Wednesday. Standen is now 9-4-1-and-3 with a 2.19-GAA and .925-SPCT to go along with two shutouts.
