SJHL Releases 2022-2023 Schedule

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League released its 2022-2023 regular-season schedule this week, with the Notre Dame Hounds opening games with a home-and-home series with the Humboldt Broncos starting Sept. 17, 2022 in Humboldt.

See full details of our schedule here.

Two Hounds home games are scheduled to be played away from the Duncan McNeill Arena in Wilcox, at time of writing, as ND will face Melfort Sept. 27 in a ‘home game’ at the annual Warman Showcase in Warman, SK’s Legends Centre, and then will battle the Estevan Bruins Dec. 14 at the Carlyle Sports Arena in Carlyle, SK.

The Hounds will no longer have the Broncos as their ‘natural rival’, as they are set to face all three other teams in the Global Ag Risk Solutions Division six times for this up-coming campaign.

ND’s longest home stand will be seven games between Jan. 25 and Feb. 14,  2023, and the longest stretch the Hounds will be away from Wilcox is six contests between Sept. 20, and Oct. 1, 2022.

The regular season has also been shortened for all teams in the league to 56 games, which does not include the return of the SJHL/MJHL Showcase event set for Winnipeg, MB Jan. 31, and Feb. 1.
