INFORMATION FOR THE COLLEGE BOUND ATHLETE – SPECIFIC TO AMERICAN SCHOOLS
NCAA – all student athletes competing at the Division I level must be cleared by a governing body called the NCAA – National Collegiate Athletic Association.
You have to register with the NCAA – the process is quite simple on-line – you will find the information at:
www.ncaa.org
Go to the link for Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse, International Student. The cost is $75 US. You must also send your SAT scores to the NCAA (we make sure that this happens when you fill out your SAT registration forms here).
Finally, you must send a final official transcript of your grades AFTER YOU GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL.
You must send a transcript from every high school that you attended so that they have all of your marks and credits from Grades 9 – 12.
