Notre Dame Hounds’ Connor O’Keefe has committed to Maryville University for the 2024-2025 season.
O’Keefe, 19, has played 82 games for the Junior Hounds at the time of writing, and has been a Hound since 2019.
“Having Connor on the junior team the last two years and working with him in high school I know him well as a person and a player,” said Hounds head coach and general manager Brett Pilkington.
“He is a tremendous person and just a joy to be a around. On the ice he is a leader and a voice of reason, he gives everything he has for his teammates every night, and I could not be happier for him for this opportunity and beyond.”
Maryville University is located the western suburbs of St. Louis, MO, and plays in the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
The 6-foot, 185-pound defenceman was part of the 2022 Notre Dame U18 Hounds Saskatchewan AAA championship team, and registered an assist while playing in all six games in the Telus Cup, the U18 National Championship, that year.
