Jacob Standen Commits to play USport Hockey at Wilfrid Laurier

Congratulations to Hound Jacob Standen who committed to play USPort Hockey at Wilfrid Laurier next season.  Standen finished the 2017-2018 season playing 31 games, with a 2.55 GAA and a .914 Save Percentage.

“My time at Notre Dame was absolutely incredible. During the course of my experience with the team I quickly learned to love the uniqueness of the Hounds system. Nowhere else in Jr hockey will you see a team living together during the season with amenities such as food or the rink all within walking distance. That along with the amazing level of support from the coach’s and school staff/students creates a truly remarkable atmosphere. Without Notre Dame I can say without any doubt that my opportunity with Wilfred Laurier next season would not be possible. I want to thank my coach’s Clint Mylymok and Chris Robinson for their unwavering support and devotion in developing players into sound athletes and even better people; the team personnel who worked tirelessly to allow us to play at our highest level;  and of course my teammates who made this all possible.”
